I don’t know if this has already been talked about, so if it hasn’t I’m going to. Even if I have no followers, and I’m basically just shouting into the void, I’d like to get this out.
Dean killed Lucifer and it really upsets me. Sam Winchester, The man who has been possessed by Lucifer, was tortured by him in the cage physically and mentally for years, didn’t get to be the one to kill him. He was even tortured mentally by him when he was out of the cage. In 13×12 he even confirms that, just like Rowena, he has seen his true face and obviously has unresolved trauma from it. (I’m sure he has unresolved trauma from all of it, but this especially.)
I just don’t understand how they could make it where Dean would be the one to kill Lucifer. It would be such a satisfying end to such a rein of terror Lucifer has had on Sam’s mind and body. He would’ve be so relieved. He would have finally killed him. Which is something that he had been threatening to do since 5×10.

I’m not saying that Sam killing Lucifer would solve all his trauma and fix him. Because it wouldn’t. Nothing really can.
But after everything he has done to him. After everything that has happened… He should have been the one to kill him.
