anyone else think it’s really interesting how when thor found out that gamora was the daughter of the man who killed half of his people, his brother, his best friend, he simply patted her on the shoulder and told her that family can be rough sometimes? like instead of acting in anger or grief, thor immediately tried to empathize and comfort gamora. he lost everything, but he didn’t even think for a second to be mad at gamora for her father’s actions. it just goes to show you how good thor is.
and the fact that the other guardians sort of…surround her, I think Quill even tries to physically put himself between them because the guardians just assume that…Thor is going to want to try to harm Gamora (because that was THEIR reaction, Drax specifically!)
so Thor responding this way was just…very out of left field for them

I really hope that we see Gamora with the two Peters cause’ what I’m imagining is a little scene where she screams “PETER YOU IDIOT” then bby boy Parker just pops his head from some rubble and ever-so-innocently says “huh?” then Gamora’s expression turns soft and says in a really sweet voice “no, not you sweetie :))”
