Ok, but the animation of the handholding scene cured my depression:

First of all, Kiri’s face when Deku tells him that he’s the only one Bakugou would accept help of:

Then, the recap of the major KiriBaku moments we’ve seen up until now:

Deku calling Kiri Bakugou’s friend and even going so far as to excluding himself from that title although knowing him for far longer:

Kiri making eye contact with Bakugou while reaching out to him:

Bakugou holding that eye contact

and deciding in a split second that yes, he will take Kirishima’s hand and that yes, he will accept help for once in his life,

going so far as to grin at Kiri when they managed to grab a hold of each other

Bakugou’s eyes shining in that last frame, which they really do not often, underlining the relief Baku must feel in that moment.

What can I say except for,
