Listen, yes of course Eddie Brock is an exceptional example of an alien fucker but I need everyone to understand that the symbiote is canonically from a planet where not only does everything reproduce asexually but the even idea of wanting any kind of relationship with a host was considered so insane and devious that the Venom symbiote was sentenced to death for it. And consider how weird a human must be to them. Humans are as much aliens to symbiotes as symbiotes are to humans.

What I’m saying is in terms of being an alien fucker, NOBODY beats the Venom Symbiote.

I’d like to point out that the nicest touch to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is that, he’s scared. And because of his age, huge scale situations scare him. He legitimately gets scared and nervous doing some things and voices out “I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die.” He knows he’s gonna die but he does it anyway because if he doesn’t do anything, other people will and it’s going to be his fault.

There’s this one scene that made me tear up because you get to truly realize that Peter Parker is just a kid. Tom Holland’s acting was so good. He’s literally the best Spider-Man.

hypothesis: the salt & pepper diner experiment can no longer be conducted as it stands, because everyone is now fully attuned to the opening bars of tom jones’ “what’s new pussycat?”, classically conditioned into a fight-or-flight response. however, this experience can be replicated using 21 back-to-back plays of lou bega’s 1999 hit song “mambo no. 5″, as the general response to “mambo no. 5″ being played twice in a row is not, “hey someone’s playing “mambo no. 5″ again,” but rather, “hey, lou bega’s 1999 hit song “mambo no. 5″ is a lot longer than i first thought.”

So what’s the “It’s Not Unusual” in this situation

I am now even more strongly in favor of removing sex and gender markers from identification and legal documents.

I see no reason for the government to collect and keep information about gender identity or assigned sex on an individual basis. The only time that question should be asked is during a census, and answering it should be voluntary.

Remove sex and gender markers from drivers licences, passports, voter registration cards, and birth certificates.

At best, legal gender/sex markers can be inaccurate. At worst? They can be weaponized by the state and used to enable oppression against already vulnerable communities.

Protect trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and gender diverse lives.
