Please, someone tell me what’s she saying, she’s talking to her sister and I bet it’s something beautiful…
I love her so much ♥
Update: Okay guys, some users already told me what she’s saying, all of them vary a little bit, but basically:
“Hello, sister. You were my hero. Perfect, strong and unbreakable. Kind and loyal. I’m sorry, older sister, I failed you. Your children were safe and I let them slip away”
Okay LOOK i’m not saying that Hozier is definitely and for sure the Greek god of the underworld Hades,,, I’m just saying that a lot of his songs are about death and love and he just so happened to drop an EP right as fall is coming back around and Persephone would be returning to the underworld. In this essay I will…
1) Azula pretty much press gangs him into the arrangement. Maybe she’s at a new job and can’t show up to a work function alone; maybe it’s college and she has to prove she can fit the head cheerleader/queen bitch role. She’s basically just scouring the room for any available idiot. Unfortunately for Sokka, he’s been spending the day with Zuko and happens to be in proximity.
2) They actually see eye to eye on a lot of things. Sokka is always on time. She appreciates that immensely. He cleans up fairly well. And, quite frankly, he’s a fan of all the free food he gets when he goes out with her. However, he is very aware of the face that Azula needs him and so, even if she has all the power, she has to indulge him. He basically uses the arrangement to become her kept man. They also sass each other. Constantly.
3) Sokka isn’t really one of Azula’s fans. She’s kind of domineering and she’s just been looking out for her social standing. But…some of the girl’s are really bitchy and are talking behind her back. Even if he agrees with some of it, he steps in and defends her reputation. We’ll just run with the cliche and say Azula overhears some of this and is touched.
4) She softens to him after that and maybe suggests they get a meal together. A private meal, just the two of them. No one else to impress. It’s weird at first but they end up ducking out of the fancy restaurant. They share a beer and walk the waterfront and talk about their lives. They’ve probably been fake dating for a few months now but neither of them really know the other. Sokka drives her home and tells her she’s actually pretty alright. He couldn’t ask for a better fake girlfriend.
5) It’s kind of not even a big moment for them when it becomes something real. They don’t even notice until its too late. They start hanging out alone together. They both make excuses (they’re just trying to make sure their lie is believable) but…eventually they just. Like being together. It’s comfortable for them. Azula has someone she can talk to and actually confide in and Sokka has someone who pushes him forward when his self doubt gets the better of them. Basically, they just decide they’re good for each other.
And I’m assuming this is a romantic comedy so obviously. They sass each other and then makeout.
