If you get a chance to see this movie, you should. It’s gut-wrenching, heartfelt, beautiful, and important. The residential school system in Canada and the boarding school system in the United States both inflicted incredible amounts of generational trauma, and the path to reconciliation starts with acknowledgment and understanding.
