if all these high school drama writers REALLY wanna show students but also wanna show them having sex and shit so BAD the ONLY possible excuse to not just writing them as 18+ and in college is because that’s how they look at high schoolers.
there is not a single damn reason for every fucking movie or show about high schoolers to have scenes like this, especially played by people who are either college aged or older anyway!!! they wanna write out their own fantasies and editors and producers keep allowing this. why

It also makes real teenagers feel bad because they don’t look like these actors who are 18+ and they aren’t experiencing anything similar so they feel ashamed of broken because they’re not having all this sex or they don’t look super sexy or arent as developed as these actors.
What’s even worse is that there are teenagers who do look similar to this actors like I know teens who are 6’5 and 250 lbs but it adds to the whole it’s ok to sexualize a teen if they don’t look like one
