Guys…. I know some people in the tags have suggested a The Proposal AU, but this scene, come on, it’s PERFECT.

Len as Sandra Bullock’s character – the [Canadian] editor who’s work visa expired and bullies Barry [his assistant] into agreeing to a sham wedding so he isn’t sent back to Canada. He drags his heels the whole way but totally falls in love with Barry once he gets to know him and has to pretend to be engaged to him.

Barry as Ryan Reynolds’ character – The assistant bullied into agreeing to marry his boss but he’s full of sass, exasperated, with the attitude of “I’m doing you a favor, you realize?” and also “hey btw I have to go spend a weekend with my family now and since we’re fake-engaged I guess you have to come and please don’t screw this up, okay?”

And in this scene right here, I mean anyone who’s read Tumbling Together knows I headcanon that Len can’t swim. This AU is practically gift-wrapped, okay?

Len in expensive tailored suits and Italian loafers that are all so WRONG for the damn climate

Len offering the West family’s dog to an eagle as a replacement for his stolen phone
