Never underestimate how messy men are. They tell everything to each other, but swear they stay out of drama. They make fun of reality tv and act as if gossip is exclusive to women. It’s for their gimmick!! They have no discretion what’s so ever and they also pretend to have a solid bro code, yet betray each other all the damn time to the same women they degrade. They stay throwing each other under the bus, but always wanna impress each other and have dirt on women.

When I was in highschool, if you wanted to know everybody’s business you just listen to what the guys say in the locker room. GIrls. ONly gossip to their social circle. If you’re not in it. They won’t dispell knowledge. But guys. They will scream people’s business out in the open like it’s whatever.
As a man who works with mostly men, this is true. They’re catty, bitchy, childish, and I wish I worked with more women just for the peace of mind.

Men gossip a lot. Bro code isn’t real. I’m in a group chat with some of my closest guy friends. One night we were out with our ladies and one of the ladies suggested that she knew about things that were said in the chat. The next day all hell broke loose in the chat. Dude was accused of violating bro code. We all let him know we weren’t happy with him. One day my wife came home from hanging out with one of those guys’ girlfriend (a different one from the one who already knew about our chats). One of the first things she told me was “be careful about what you put in the chat. The girlfriends know about what’s said in the chat”. Bro code my ass lol.
I’m a mechanic, and I’m among the youngest in the shop. It’s all older guys, mostly mid-40’s and up. When I tell you these “manly” men (who shit on youngins all the time for being “girly”) are thee biggest gossipers, stay in their feelings, messy, and stay trying to one-up each other, I mean it like it’s a Mona Scott show in there. Everybody business stay out there, so you can’t tell niggas shit. idc what anybody say, men way worse than women when it comes to messy drama shit.
Listen… Ive had whole ass groups of only male friends at one point and only female friends at another point, and having female friends is waaaaaay less messy than people put on. Niggas will tell your whole ass business than jokingly laugh about it and be on some “lol bro its not even that deep. It was just a joke… Dont nobody give af forreal” type shit lmao.
Guys will claim guys are easy going, but like if gossip and girls weren’t real… half of these men wouldn’t even have jokes or their so called “comedy” bets
Many guys have to be the best, the smartest, the leader, and they will make everyone else feel like piles of shit to get themselves up there.
I knew 2 guys J and L who I went to High School with and I finally reconnected with J while we were both in college. We became friends but he had been friends with this other L for like 15 plus years. Anyway, one day, we’re just hanging out with J alone and J just tells me about how L is still a virgin and he’s never even kissed a girl and he’s insecure about this. J didn’t tell me all this in any other fashion other than to just make his friend’s life story an entertaining talking point for the night. I remember thinking…omg…what is LOYALTY tho. Men gossip a lot but they don’t call it gossiping because that’s too feminine to them so they call it “Facts” to make themselves feel smarter and better.
